Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On June 5-6, 2017, in accordance with the Program of Technical Assistance and Information Exchange of the European Commission (TAİEX), a seminar was held within the framework of the project "Innovation Model Education-Science-Startup" developed in the National Academy of Sciences.

The event was opened by an introductory speech the head of the Office of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS the device, corresponding member of ANAS Aminagha Sadigov. Then A. Sadigov made a report on the reforms carried out at ANAS in recent years in the field of integration of science and education, the application of research results in production, training at the master's level, the prospects for cooperation between ANAS and the Ministry of Education, as well as with international scientific organizations. He stressed the importance of the "Innovation Model Education-Science-Startup" and expressed confidence that this model will contribute to the development of science and education in Azerbaijan.

In his speech at the seminar advisor to Education Minister Hasan Hasanli he spoke about the importance of the EU experience in the development of science, education and innovation. He noted that a major role in the study of this experience and its application in our country played by Azerbaijani students educated within the state education programs abroad. He spoke about the prospects for close cooperation between the Ministry of Education and ANAS, as a clear example, the students of the group SABACH practice in ANAS.

At the seminar, presentations were made by the representative of the University of Babes-Boyyayi and the Romanian Institute of Technology Kristina Dobrota, Professor of the University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria) Diana Kopeva, General Director of the University of La Laguna (Spain) Gwintero Leon, Technology Park (Slovenia, Ljubljana) Bole, who spoke about the latest achievements in the countries of the European Union in the field of the "Innovation Model Education-Science-Startup", the successful results of cooperation between universities and industry Shlenov institutions, new areas of development in the world of technology.

Experts told the participants about the European Union's guidelines on the development of "innovative model of education-science start-ups." During the discussions the experts answered numerous questions of the participants of the event.

It should be noted that the seminar was attended by officials of scientific institutions of ANAS, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education and higher educational institutions responsible for the sphere of education.
