Research work held by ANAS Erosion and Irrigation Institutedepartment of “Monitoring and protection of eroded lands” since 2012 will be completed this year. Topic of the research is “Study, monitoring of erosion process in the South and South-East of Lankaran region and elaboration of complex control measures against”.

According to the chief department PhD in agriculture Farhad Sadigov 2 fulfillments are carried out over the topic: the one is “to study, monitoring of erosion process in the South and South-East of Lankaran region and elaboration of complex control measures against”. Executive manager is PhD in agriculture Knyaz Afkerov. Another is “maintenance of irrigation erosion control measures in Astara against irrigated lands, and fertility restoration”. Executive manager is PhD in agriculture Tamam Babayeva.

Note that, 3 scientific papers reflecting the current topic have been published during a report year.
