Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Editor of journal “Visions of Azerbaijan”, which operates under the Azerbaijan - European Union and the British-Azerbaijan Youth Society – Tom Marsden, visited the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS.

Academic-Secretary of the Department of Human Sciences of ANAS, Director of the institute, Academic Teymur Karimli informed the guest about institution’s history, development and achievements, as well as protected manuscripts and ancient books.

Then, Tom Marsden visited Departent of Electron Resoruces, Manuscripts restoration and hygiene laboratory, exhibition and reading rooms, Digitalization of the Manuscripts.

T. Marsden has extensive interview during the visit with Academician Teymur Karimli. Interview will be published third issue of the journal "Visions of Azerbaijan".
