Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

National Museum of History of Azerbaijan held the 1st National Scientific Conference on "Research, propaganda, protection, preservation and restoration of national values stored in museums, archives and libraries".

Experts from the Institute of Architecture and Art, Ganja Department of ANAS, the National Literature Museum of Azerbaijan after N.Ganjavi, Huseyn Javid’s Memorial Flat, the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, the Icherisheher History Museum of the Department of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the conference , Museum of the Azerbaijani carpet, Baku Academy of Choreography, Bulbul Memorial Museum, Beylagan Museum of Local History, House Museum of Sattara Bahlulzadeh, Baku State University, Baku Slavic University, Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Nakhchivan State University, Lankaran State University and other structures.

Opening the event, Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History, Academician Naila Velikhanli spoke about the importance of propagating national values and transferring them to future generations.

Then, were delivered the reports by Dr.Sc. Nargiz Aliyeva on "Books and treasury of the periodical press, kept in the funds of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History", Dr.Sc. Zemfira Hajiyeva "Contribution of the Center for the Accumulation and Systematization of the Scientific Heritage into the Azerbaijani Science", Ph.D Khatira Bashirli "Museums of modern society - new appeals" and others.

The Conference continued its work in plenary sessions.
