Presidium of ANAS Nakhchivan Division held the next meeting.

The chairman of the Department, Academician Ismail Hajiyev, who opened the event informed the audience about the work on preparation for the international conference on "Monuments of the Turkic-Islamic culture of Nakhchivan: in history and our days", scheduled for July this year. He said that, scientists, conducting research in this field in Turkey, Iran and the USA are expected to participate in the international conference.

Then head of the Department of Ethnography of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology of the Department, Doctor of Philosophy in History, Associate Professor Asaf Orujov reported on "Family Relations: Tradition and Modernity".

Further, head of the Scientific and Organizational Department, Doctor of Philosophy in Agrarian Sciences, Associate Professor Orkhan Bagirov gave information on the preparation of semi-annual reports of research institutes of the department.

At the event, Director of the Central Scientific Library of the branch Nurida Kangarli brought to attention the statistics of electronization processes conducted in the library in the first half of 2017. It was noted that, general and individual registration of printed products and other documents included in the library was carried out. In the electronic catalog 3153 books, 445 author's abstracts and 5 dissertations were included.

In conclusion, were considered a number of current issues.
