Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A regular meeting of the Scientific Council on Problems of Soil and Water Resources Management and Environmental Protection of the Republican Council for the Coordination of Scientific Research was held.

Opening the meeting, the Council Chairman, corresponding member of ANAS Amin Ismayilov told about the work done during the past period. It was reported that the presentation of the monograph Contemporary Soil Cover of the Greater Caucasus, dedicated to the Academician Hasan Aliyev's 110th anniversary was prepared and held.

Then, 12 themes of dissertational works on programs of preparation of PhDs and doctors of sciences were submitted for discussion. During the discussions, the need was stressed for theses to be devoted to more topical and modern scientific areas.
