Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On June 26-30, a conference entitled "Science and Technology - 2017" of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) was held in Vienna, Austria.

Academician-secretary of the Department of Earth Sciences of ANAS, head of the Azerbaijan National Information Center of the CTBTO, academician Fakhraddin Gadirov and senior researcher of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Ph.D. in Earth Sciences Rafik Safarov attended the event.

F.Gadirov made a lecture on “Earth's swelling variations preliminary analysis on the base of gravitational field measurements carried out at the gravity station of Azerbaijan” and R.Safarov on "Deformations of the Earth's crust recorded as a result of GPS -Measures in the territory of Azerbaijan ".
