Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Opening ceremony of " Azerbaijani National clothes as it actually is" exhibition took place at National Museum of History of Azerbaijan.

Studies for exhibition were conducted in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Iran, Director of the museum, academician Naila Velikhanli reported. It was noted that exhibition demonstrates more than 150 exhibits, more than 20 sets of men's and women's clothes, which used in the late XIX - early XX centuries in Northern and Southern Azerbaijan, more than 70 unique paintings and photographs, relevant historical information, as well as ethnographic books and catalogs published by the museum in different years.

The exhibition, held by the organizational support of the museum and National Center for Educational Technologies, will last until October 1.
