Director of the High Technologies Park of ANAS, PhD inAgrarian Sciences Vugar Babayev is on a working visit to St. Petersburg, Russia.

During his visit, V. Babayev met with the head of St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO). During the meeting, director of the ITMO Business Incubator Center Elena Gavrilova, and deputy director of the ITMO Technopark, Olesya Baranyuk, spoke about the activities of the center they headed.

Further, the laboratory of the factory (FabLab) of the technopark of the university was introduced. It was noted that here students, using equipment of high technologies, carry out individual projects. The goal of creating FabLab is to increase the effectiveness of the process of teaching students, to enhance their independent creative research and to improve the learning environment for future professionals.

Then an excursion to the Museum of Optics of the University was organized. It was noted that the Museum of Optics, which is the first interactive educational exhibition in Russia, was created within the framework of the ITMO innovative education program. There are information stands for teachers and students and a laser game room.
