A regular seminar of the Office of Law and Human Resources of the Presidium of ANAS held.

Heads of personnel departments of scientific institutions and organizations of the Academy took part in the seminar held in the main building of ANAS.

Speaking at the event, head of the Office, Doctor of Philosophy on law Rasim Agasiyev, informed about the additions and changes made in the "Unified Tariff and Qualification Reference Book of Employees in Posts Related to Science and the Sphere of Scientific Services" in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS.

It was noted that, the brochure was approved by the decision of the Collegium of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population dated August 30, 2017 and brought into line with Article 8 of the Law "On Science" of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

R.Agasiyev noted that, this document is the main normative legal act in determining labor functions and wage rates for employees, the development of job descriptions reflecting their rights and duties, hiring depending on the level of professionalism, increasing the position and ensuring effective employment, performance of attestation and conclusion of labor contracts.

Head of the Office reported on the approval by the Presidium of the Single tariff-qualification handbook and gave instructions for further work in accordance with this.

Then, head of Department of Human Resources, Ph.D. in technology Dilgusha Mirzayeva spoke about the application of wage rates in scientific institutions and organizations in accordance with the range established in the directory. She said that employees related to science and the spheres of scientific services are defined in the payment range in accordance with the posts of managers (heads of structural units), researchers and specialists.
