National Library of Azerbaijan after M.F.Akhundzadeh presented "Elchin. Writer's creative way" book by Director of the Azerbaijan Ataturk Center, Honored Scientist, Academician Nizami Jafarov.

The event, which was organized jointly by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the library, was attended by well-known scientists, artists and public figures of the country.

Speaking at the event, Director of the National Library, Professor Kerim Tairov shared his impressions of the new edition. It was noted that, the genre diversity of the creative work of the People's writer Elchin attracts much attention. The reporter said that, beginning in the 60s and 70s as a master of the story, Elchin perfected his work in the following decades.

Noting that, the great writer is still in literary search today, the director of the library told about the presence in the Elchin works of rich materials, which the researchers can address.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev in his speech described the book of Academician Nizami Jafarov as highly appreciated by the author of the literary work of the outstanding writer. Minisitre stressed that, this book allows us to explore the literary work of Elchin and creates an idea of his work.

Then, the report of the head of the Department of the Institute of Literature after Nizami, correspondent member of ANAS Tehran Mustafayev on creativity and a new book of the writer was heard. In the monograph all the writer's work is analyzed in a new context. In the book the author presented the writer's work in 3 stages - from the sixties to the seventies, from the eighties to the nineties, the modernity of the classic.

Appreciating the work of Elchin, the first secretary of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan, the People's poet Fikret Goja told the participants about the creative search for the writer. The poet described Elchin as a professional writer. It was noted that the social and political activities of Elchin never prevented him from engaging in literary creation.

At the event Director of the Translation Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Afag Masud, People's poet Nariman Hasanzadeh, professors of the Baku State University Tahsin Mutallimov, Jahangir Mammadli, Dean of the Philological Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Professor Buludkhan Khalilov, Editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Literature" Azer Turan, Editor-in-Chief magazine "Azerbaijan" Intigam Gasimzade and others told about the significance of the book and half a century of literary creativity Elchin.

Expressing gratitude to all participants, academician Nizami Jafarov noted that when preparing the book he read all the works of Elchin. He said that Elchin is one of the writers who can adequately represent Azerbaijan on a global scale. He expressed his confidence that many books and dissertations will be written in connection with Elchin's work.

Expressing gratitude to the author, People's writer Elchin noted that, the book is an intersection of literary criticism and criticism.

In conclusion, the participants got acquainted with the exhibition of books by the People's Writer Elchin.
