Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On November 1, well-known Arabist writer, journalist Yousef Azizi Benitorof, who lived and worked in the UK, visited the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Ziya Bunyadov.

The British scientist first met with director of the institute, academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva. At the meeting, the guest was informed about the studies carried out on the history, economy and language of Arab countries at the Institute of Oriental Studies. G.Bahshaliyeva presented the booklet of the institute and a number of books to the guest.

Later, the British scientist visited the Department of Oriental Studies in Arab Studies and was interested in the work done.
