"Colors of Senses" exhibition opened

ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History, by joint support of this structure and the Center for Professional Rehabilitation of Young People with Disabilities # 1 held exhibition of handicrafts of young people.

The "Colors of Senses" exhibition dedicated to the December 3 - International Day of Disabled Persons, was held by the support of the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the museum's director, Academician Naila Velikhanli told about the attention and care for young people with disabilities, work carried out for their integration into society. She noted that, the exhibition shows more than 100 works by 28 representatives of creative youth.

Then, acting Deputy Director of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection Amina Seidzadeh noted that, recently in the Center for Professional Rehabilitation in the “Yeni Ramana” prospectus, the necessary measures are being taken in connection with the development of professions by young people with disabilities. According to the deputy director, about 1300 youth representatives have mastered 15 different professions and specialties. Only for the current year 350 individuals were awarded certificates of occupation. Currently, 136 people study at the center of various professions.

Speaking at the ceremony, deputy head of the executive power of Baku Fiduma Huseynov, Secretary of Azerbaijani Artists' Union, national artist Agali Ibrahimov, the representative of the Ministry of Education Jamila Tagiyeva and others expressed their appreciation regarding the care of young people with disabilities and to identify their creative talents.

Finally, the leadership of the museum and the Foundation for Knowledge exhibitors were presented with certificates of appreciation and special gifts.

It should be noted that, at the exhibition "Colors of Senses" hand-made works of creative youth are demonstrated in the genres of painting, weaving, carpet weaving, carving on wood, etc. The exhibition will last until November 10.
