ANAS Institute of Geography after Academician H.Aliyev organized visit of the undergraduates of the Baku State University (BSU) to the Sheki.

The purpose of the visit, organized by the support of ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center, the Institute of Geography and BSU was to familiarize the undergraduates with natural and anthropogenically-recreational resources, tourist facilities and industrial enterprises.

During the visit the undergraduates visited the Kish Albanian temple, the Museum of History and Local History, the Palace of Sheki Khans, the Karavan-Saray and received information about the history and traditions of the region. In addition, observations were made in the anthropogenic spruce forests, the muddy areas of the Kish River, and were familiarized with the production process in the workshops of JSC "Sheki-Ipek".
