Signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Institute of Petrochemical Processes (IPP) named after academician Y.H.Mammadaliyev of ANAS and Institute of Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute was held.

Director of IPP, academician Vagif Abbasov said that the Memorandum is important for the establishment and sustainable development of relations between the two institutions, as well as the integration of science and education.

Then director of the Institute, Professor Ahmed Mohammad Al-Sabah spoke about the history of the company, its activities, its international programs and projects.

Later on, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the parties. The document was signed by academician Vagif Abbasov and professor Ahmed Mohammed Al-Sabah.

According to the agreement, the two organizations will jointly cooperate in the fields of petrochemical and oil refining, high molecular compounds, organic synthesis, chemical kinetics and catalysis, alternative fuel research, nanotechnology and other fields.

At the end of the event, the institute presented gifts to the academician guests.
