Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

International scientific conference on "Functional monomers and special polymer materials: problems, perspectives and practical perspectives", dedicated to the 55th anniversary of Sumgait State University (SSU), started its work.

The event was co-organized by the Institute of Polymer Materials (IPM) of the National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and SSU.

The conference was opened by the rector of the SSU, Professor Elkhan Huseynov. He also talked about the work done by the organization, as well as relations with IPM. He thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Education and ANAS for the support provided.

Then IPM director, correspondent member of ANAS Bakhtiyar Mammadov said that close relations with SSU are a clear example of integration of science and education.

At the conference, the IPM officer, Ph.D. Kazim Guliyev, Associate Professor of SSU Mahal Muradov and Professor of Russian Ufa Oil Technology University Tatyana Prosochkin made reports.
