The next meeting of Presidium of Nakhchivan Division of ANAS was held.

Head of the Division, academician Ismail Hajiyev opened the event with introductory remarks and familiarized the participants with the issues on the agenda.

Then a scientific employee of Physical Research Laboratory of the Institute of Natural Resources, PhD in Engineering Mahbub Kazimov made a report on the theme "Wind energy in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, opportunities and features of use". The report mentions the facilities to be installed in the future for wind energy in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and their use.

Then, the head of the department of Scientific-Organization Department of the division, PhD in agricultural sciences Orkhan Bagirov spoke about the state of preparations for the annual reports in 2017.

At the end of the meeting, the scientific secretary of the unit, PHD on philology Akram Huseynzade spoke about current issues. He presented to the members of the Presidium the books prepared by the head of the Department of Archeology of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology of the division, PhD in History, Associate Professor Zeynab Guliyeva and Head of the Department of Ancient and Medieval Archeology of the Institute, PhD in History, Associate Professor Togrul Khalilov.
