ANAS Institute of Oriental Studies after Academician Z.Bunyadov held an event dedicated to the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev on December 8.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Institute, Academician Govkhar Bakhshaliyeva spoke about the exceptional merits of the founder and creator of modern Azerbaijan, the great leader Heydar Aliyev, in the historical development of our people. She said that, in the most difficult times, returned to power at the request of the people, the national leader Heydar Aliyev for a short time achieved the restoration of public order in the country.

Director of the Institute noted that, brilliant leader had created a great faith in the future of the people, in a short time laid the foundation for high economic development in our country and turned Azerbaijan into the leading state in the region.

Academician G.Bakhshaliyeva said that, at present the policy of the great leader is worthily continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Head of the Department of Arabic Philology of the Institute, Doctor of Philology Vilayat Jafarov, Head of the Department of the History of Religion and Social Thought, Doctor of Philosophy Esmeralda Hasanova and others spoke about the invaluable merits of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of our science and the life of our people.
