Bureau of ANAS Division of Social Sciences held next meeting.

Academician-Secretary of the Department, Academician Nargiz Akhundova, members of the Department and Bureau and other guests attended at the event.

Opening the meeting, Nargiz Akhundova briefed the participants on the agenda.

Then, head of the Department of Aesthetics of the Institute of Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy Adil Asadov delivered a report on "Four-part typology of cultures". The scientist in his report noted that, culture is a way of life built on prohibitions. He noted that, the culture is divided into 4 types - knightly, communal, aristocratic and urban.

A.Asadov noted that, morality is also divided into four types and is a subsystem of culture: "If cruelty and not rendering assistance to those in need are forbidden in the communal culture, cowardice is forbidden in knightly culture. And in urban culture, it is considered unreasonable and inconclusive to work, while in aristocratic culture it is forbidden to stay out of social work in accordance with its natural purpose and depression".

The head of the Department brought to the attention that, a person is ideal if he is generous in a communal culture, brave in a knightly culture, intelligent in urban culture, decent in an aristocratic culture. He noted that the community leader is looking for the cause of his suffering in his sins, the knight in destiny, the city in mistakes, and the aristocrat in the very essence of the universe.

Director of the Institute of Economics, Doctor of Economy sciences, Professor Nazim Imanov, Director of the Institute of History, Academician Yagub Mahmudov, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Academician Govkhar Bakhshaliyeva, Director of the Institute of Caucasus Studies, correspondent member of ANAS Musa Gasimli and other speakers made comments and suggestions on the topic.

The meeting also adopted a resolution on holding the 60th jubilee of the Institute of Economics of ANAS and the 90th anniversary of Academician Teymur Bunyadov.

Then, were discussed a number of organizational and personnel issues.
