Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The first volume of the magazine "Scientific Works" of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of ANAS was published in English (The Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology).

The magazine includes the history of the institute and its scientific results.

In addition, director of the institute, academician Irada Huseynova, doctor in biology Suleyman Allahverdiyev and world-renowned scientist in the field of photosynthesis, prof. Govindjee’s article "Great scientist, great teacher and great man" dedicated to the memory of late academic Jalal Aliyev by is also presented to readers. The magazine also includes an article titled "The Importance of Photosynthesis Signs for the Growing of High-Productivity Wheat Species".

The publication also publishes about 30 articles, reflecting the results of research carried out by various laboratories of the institute, as well as employees of the Institute of Botany and Genetic Resources of ANAS.
