Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Teachers and pupils of school-lyceum No. 246 of Binagadi district of Baku city have visited the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS.

Director of the Institute, correspondent member of ANAS Misir Mardanov informed the guests about the history of the enterprise, its activities, carried researches and achievements.

At the meeting, took place within the framework of integration of science and education, M.Mardanov talked to the pupils about German mathematician Carl Gauss and Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler 's researches and answered their questions.

At the end, the pupils got acquainted with the laboratories of the institute.
