Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Baku Musical Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli presented the book "Afrasiyab Badalbeyli. The well-known monographical music dictionary” has been re-published after 49 years.

The author of the dictionary is Afrasiyab Badalbeyli, the creator of the first Azerbaijani ballet "Maiden Tower", who is known as a composer, conductor, musicologist and public figure and who made valuable contributions to our national music.

The book is published by "East-West" publishing house and academician Rafael Huseynov is scientific editor. The editorial staff includes Rafael Huseynov, Narmina Guliyeva, Gulnaz Abdullazadeh, Arif Malikov, Ulvi Imanova, Shahla Hasanova, Gulzar Mahmudova and Leyla Mammadova. The reviewers are Aida Tagizadeh and Tofig Bakikhanov.

The work is intended for musicians, students of secondary specialized music schools as well as students of secondary schools, as well as for a wide range of readers.
