Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

At the secondary school #123 after Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev, Mardakan settlement of Baku, employees of ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History held an event dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the famous philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev.

First a group of museum employees and his relatives visited the grave of Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev in Mardakan.

The event commemorated Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev and mentioned important points related to his activities.

The scientific secretary of the museum, Ph.D. in history Farhad Jabbarov informed the students about the life of a prominent patron, his services to the Azerbaijani people and the history of the establishment of the Mardakan school. Further answers were given to students' questions.

The grandchildren of the well-known philanthropist also took part in the event.
