Regular meeting of the Scientific Council of Mardakan Arboretum of ANAS was held. The event was opened by the director of the arboretum, corresponding member of ANAS Tofig Mammadov, who gave information about the issues on the agenda. T.Mamedov noted the importance of the memorandum on the establishment of scientific and educational center, which will operate in conjunction with the biological faculty of Baku State University and Mardakan Arboretum. It was also noted that the signing of the contract for the purpose of cooperation with the Union of Baku landscaping works on the “Greening of parks and gardens in Baku” in the 2014-2015 year is important.

In conclusion, discussed issues relating to the work stipulated to perform in connection with the beginning of the spring- summer season.
