Fourth-year students of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Baku State University pass practical training at the Institute of Additive Chemistry (IAC) of ANAS.

The goal is to deepen the knowledge of students received during their studies, and attract talented young people to scientific research in magistracy and doctoral studies.

On the first day of the visit, the students were informed about the history of the establishment and development of the Institute and the work carried out by the Institute's staff in basic research. In addition, students were informed about the scientific activities of the institute's laboratories, international relations, projects aimed at encouraging young scientists. Students also got acquainted with the activity of the basic department of additives, lubricants, oils and refrigerants of the chemical faculty of BSU at the institute. It should be noted that lectures and seminars for bachelors and undergraduates are held regularly in this department.

During the practice the students in groups of three people will get acquainted with the principles of the work of devices and scientific research conducted in individual laboratories. Based on the instructions of the institute's management, lectures are given to students in each laboratory and experiments are conducted in accordance with the scientific research of the institute.

The practice will end on March 19.
