ANAS Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics and the Institute of Geology and Geophysics (IGG) have started research in the framework of interdisciplinary research programs aimed at solving important socio-economic, sociocultural problems of the country and increasing their defense capacity. The main goal of the research is the processing of data from geophysical stations located in different regions of the republic with different geological conditions.
First of all, processing is provided by modern mathematical methods of dependence of radon gas density, temperature, humidity and pressure, short, medium and long-term stable variations in the volume of activity of radon gas and other aspects.
For this purpose, were discussed preliminary results of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics. The meeting was attended by Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Misir Mardanov, the Institute staff – Doctor of mathematics, Associate Professor Rovshan Aliyev, PhD in Mathematics, Associate Professor Hilal Jafarov, Deputy Director for Research of the IGG, corresponding member of ANAS Dadash Guseinov, academician Akbar Feyzullayev, Corresponding Member of ANAS Chingiz Aliyev and Ph.D. in Geology, Associate Professor Rauf Bagirli.
At the event, the scientific results achieved were evaluated positively and it was decided to continue the research.
