Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book "Azerbaijanis" published at the Nauka Publishing House of the Russian Academy of Sciences and it was discussed at the next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS on April 5.

Vice President of the ANAS, reviewer of the book "Azerbaijanis", academician Isa Habibbeyli evaluated this publication as an important achievement of modern academic science, which is a result of joint activities of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography and the Institute of Ethnography and Anthropology of the RAS. 708 page book is presented in the high professional scientific-theoretical level, the process of formation of the Azerbaijanian concept, historical stages of our people, literary and art, ethnography, material and spiritual culture, social-public and religious relations of our people, academician underlined.

Taking all this into consideration, the Presidium considered the book "Azerbaijanis" as an effective scientific example of interaction between the ANAS and the RAS collectives and decided to evaluate the work of the creative collective of the book.
