Head of the Department of Liquids and Gases of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, corresponding member of ANAS Geilani Panahov and the leading researcher of this Department, Ph.D. in technology, associate professor Eldar Abbasov were on a business trip to China.

During the visit, scientists discussed the adaptation and application of innovative developments of the scientific center "New Horizon" in Beijing in the hydrocarbon fields of China.

The results of scientific research of Azerbaijani scientists and new innovative methods and technologies developed by them aroused the interest of Chinese specialists in the field of oil production and oil-bearing capacity increase. The Chinese partners put forward an initiative in connection with the introduction of technology into industry.

Employees of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics also met with leading experts of the largest Chinese company "CNOOC".

At the meeting, Chinese scientists expressed interest in joint research in Azerbaijan and the implementation of new developments in the field of software interpretation in the field of geophysics in oil fields.
