Erupted Toragay mud volcano two times in Garadagh district

On April 22, two eruptions occurred in the Toragay mud volcano, in the Garadagh district of Baku.

The first eruption was recorded at 8 o'clock in the morning and the second at around 10 am.

The experts of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR) investigate erosion and its consequences, and relevant observations are made.

It should be noted that Toragay mud volcano is a part of MENR's mud volcanoes located in Baku and the Absheron peninsula in the territory of the State Nature Reserve. The volcano erupted 11 times. The last time the volcano eruption recorded on March 1, 2018.
