Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order on awarding the Order of Honor of Russia to head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev.

R. Mehdiyev was awarded this award for his contribution to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.

Security Council of Russia, Nikolai Patrushev awarded Ramiz Mehdiyev with the Order of Honor within the framework of the IX International Meeting of High Representatives in Security Matters.

Expressing gratitude for the high level of attention, academician said that the relations between the two countries are developing dynamically and the heads of state play an important role in this.
