Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Head of the Center for Culture and Education of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Azerbaijan, Cultural Attaché Ahmed Sami Eles and Director of the Center for Environmental Studies of the Ayn-Shams University in Egypt Ibrahim al-Gassas visited the Soil Science and Agrochemistry Institute of ANAS.

The aim of the meeting was to exchange views on the scientific cooperation of Egyptian and Azerbaijani scientists in the field of environmental protection and reclamation.

At the meeting with Director of the Institute, correspondent member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev, Ibrahim al-Qassas delivered a report on ways to desalination of  soils.

Then, the sides exchanged views on the topic. Soon, this method is intended to be used to desalinate Azerbaijani saline soils.
