Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The presentation of the book entitled "Heydar Aliyev's image: from historical reality to ideal", dedicated to the 95th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, published by the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, was held at the Center for Culture and Education of Egypt.

Opening the event, vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbayli spoke about the invaluable services of the great architect and founder of the modern Azerbaijan state, national leader Heydar Aliyev for our state and people. Thanks to the purposeful policy pursued by the great leader Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijani literature has characterized national spiritual values ​​from 70-80s of the 20th century, and a great turn towards the history and people's history, vise president underlined.

 Great Leader conveyed Azerbaijanism to the level of ideology of the independent state in the history of the Azerbaijani people and created solid foundations of the political, ideological and economic-cultural development of our republic, I.Habibbayli emphasized.

Speaking about Azerbaijani-Egyptian literary relations, Academician I.Habibbeyli said that today Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani literature is taught as a separate course in Egyptian universities.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Center for Culture and Education of Egypt Ahmed Sami Al-Aydi said that national leader Heydar Aliyev is the founder of Azerbaijani-Egyptian relations. He noted that only Egypt have a statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Executive Director of Science Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Oktay Samadov in his speech praised the book as an important research work in the field of literature representing the great leader. He emphasized that monograph is a useful source for researchers and professionals.

Then correspondent member of ANAS Tehran Mustafayev reported "The image of Heydar Aliyev in the literature: from the historical truth to the ideal".

Professor Imamverdi Hamidov, doctor of philological sciences Yashar Gasimbeyli, PhD in philology Elnara Akimova shared their views on the book "Heydar Aliyev's image: Ideal from Idea to Book" in the conference.
