Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On 18 April within general meeting of ANAS was organized the exhibition reflecting activity of institutes and the organizations of Academy. At the exhibition the particular interest was attracted by exhibits and magazines in which information on the last results of archaeological and ethnographic researches, and also monographs and collections of ANAS Institute of Archeology and Ethnography was reflected. At the exhibition the head of the Presidential Administration, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, president of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh, head of the Humanitarian Policy of the Presidential Administration, PhD in physical and mathematical sciences Fatma Abdullazade and active members of ANAS, representatives of institutions and other organizations familiar with the stand reflecting the activities of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography. Director of the Institute, PhD in history Maisa Rahimova gave information about the activities and achievements of the Azerbaijani Institute of Archaeological Science. Also at the exhibition the video reflecting research activity of institute, research of archeologists and ethnographers of Azerbaijan and the international scientific actions was shown.
