An interactive open lesson devoted to artificial satellites of the Earth was held jointly by Nakhchivan Division of ANAS and Ministry of Education of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Director of the Batabat Astrophysics Observatory, PhD in Physics-Mathematics, Associate Professor Gulu Haziyev, students informed about Earth's artificial satellites, and the movement of satellites to the Earth's orbit and geocentric orbit. It was stated that the artificial satellite, which is a pilot and freely flying spacecraft, travels around the Earth and performs some scientific, technical and other functions.

Gulu Haziyev also gave detailed information on astronomical, meteorological, biological, geodetic, pilot, intelligence satellites and space stations.

The demonstration of the Earth's artificial satellites through the video and the orbit of the class were brought to the attention of the students.
