ANAS Division of Social Sciences  discussed a number of scientific, organizational and personnel issues on May 17

At first academician-secretary of the Division, academician Nargiz Akhundova told about the issues on the agenda. She brought to attention that a number of scientific, organizational and personnel issues will be discussed at today's meeting.

The event discussed issues on making changes to the structure of the Academic Council of the ANAS Institute of History, approval of the new Academic Council of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography. Then, Division decided to appoint Doctor of Historical sciences Najaf Museyibli to the post of deputy director for scientific affairs of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, PhD in History Sevil Agamaliyeva - Scientific Secretary of the same institute, PhD in Psychology Sudaba Huseynova - Academic Secretary of the Institute of Caucasus Studies.

The decision has been made concerning participation of staff of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS at the event devoted to 70th anniversary of the famous historian-ethnographer Haji Gadir Gadirzadeh.

In conclusion, were considered a number of personnel issues.
