On May 22, "Legacy of Great Desert: Masterpieces of Jewelry Arts" exhibition opened at National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS was held within the framework of the international exhibition "The Golden Man's Visit to the World Museums".

At the opening ceremony, director of the museum, academician Naila Velikhanli spoke about the importance of scientific and cultural ties between our countries and expressed their views on the exhibition.

Then Deputy Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abay Satubaldin gave detailed information on the activities, rare exhibits and international relations of the organization.

Academician Shahin Mustafayev, correspondent member of ANAS Sevda Mammadaliyeva, Kazakh professor Zeynolla Samashev and others emphasized the importance of expanding scientific ties.

At the same time, the importance of the international exhibition "The journey of the golden man to the world museums" was also emphasized.

Then participants of the event became acquainted with the exhibition year.

About 140 pieces of Kazakhstan jewelry art, including the "Golden Man", were brought to Azerbaijan for the first time.

The famous "Golden Man" is one of the symbols of Kazakhstan and is a symbol of a fighter dressed in gold.

The exhibition, which will last until July 1, also presents a collection of silver ornaments kept at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
