On May 24, at the Heydar Aliyev School of Culture and Art of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (ASUCA), Professor of the Department of Library Studies of the University, Chairman of the Jafar Jabbarli Commission of Azerbaijan Writers Union, Head of the Press History and Publication Department of the Institute of Literature of ANAS, Doctor of Philology Asif Rustamli's "Basics of Literary Editing: History, Theory, Practice" training manual presented.
At the event organized by the Library Information Center of ASUCA, professors and students of the university, as well as scholars of the Institute of Literature attended the event.
Firstly, the head of the department of bibliography and library science, doctor of philological sciences, professor Agshin Babayev spoke about the novelty of the new edition, saying that, along with the scientific importance of the book, very valuable resources in the field of pedagogy are informative sources for the public.
Then, Natig Mursalov, a teacher at the BSU's Bookkeeping and Library Studies Department, gave detailed information about the new edition, saying that the basics of literary editing have been analyzed from the historical, theoretical and practical aspects of this manual, which is a leading and important book for general editing.
Professor Nasir Ahmadli, doctor of philological sciences Elchin Mehraliyev, PhDs in philology Rauf Sadikhov, Gulbeniz Babayeva, PhDs on culturology Fatimat Mammadova, Sadagat Aliyeva, Yegana Aliyeva, writer Kenan Haji and others shared their views on the book.
At the end, the author of the publication, Professor Asif Rustamli, thanked the organizers and participants of the event and those who contributed to the development of the textbook. He has advised students and teachers to use the book's capabilities.
