Vice-president of ANAS acad. Isa Habibbayli and Toyli Komekov, ambassador of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan Republic held meeting.

In a meeting, Isa Habibbayli informed the guest about history of ANAS, successful reforms continuing in the academy, done fulfillments on various scientific directions, especially in the sphere of humanitarian. Recently, ANAS has created close relations via research institutions of the world and academy directory gives great importance to cooperation with Turkmenistan, he noted.

Azerbaijan will be represented in the international conference to be held in Ashgabad in May on the occasion of great Turkmen poet Mahdimgulu Feragi’s 290th jubilee, in terms of members of delegation have prepared several scientific lectures, I. Habibbayli paid to the attention.

He also stressed out that, ANAS Institute of Literature named after Nizami prepares multivolume of Turkic nations’ literature. One part of the multivolume is intended to cover life and creativity of notable figures of Turkmen literature.

Being satisfied of the meeting Toyli Komekov hoped for long-termed ties between two parts. He also noted that, hold of mutual researches, translation and edition of figurative works are of great importance.
