Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Delegation of the Academy of Social Sciences of China visited ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi. The goal was to strengthen the Azerbaijani-Chinese scientific ties, organize joint events and discuss joint projects.

At the meeting, vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbayli  said that, the scientific and literary relations of the two countries are developing rapidly. He noted that, the Center of China operates in the Institute of Literature, which teaches Chinese language, conducts scientific research in the field of mutual literary relations. He noted that, the scale of these ties creates the basis for the implementation of major projects.

Then, at the event spoke employee of the Institute of World Religions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Wei Daouri, deputy director of the Institute of Philosophy Jui Weihan, head of the China Border Research Sector Van Ikan, head of the Center for the Study of Chinese National Culture Li Hy, coordinator for the Sino-Azerbaijani relations of the Nizami Ganjavi Literature Institute Agshin Aliyev and others. It was noted that, both countries should take an active part in the exchange of knowledge and experience of scientists in the humanities.

The meeting also decided to establish the Center for China's Studies at the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature.

In conclusion, the guests visited the Center of China at the Institute.
