ANAS High Technologies Park held the opening ceremony of the "Innovation Competition", jointly announced by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the UN Office in Azerbaijan.

Head of the Sustainable Development Department of the Ministry of Economy, Secretary of the National Coordinating Council for Sustainable Development Huseyn Huseynov informed the participants about the measures taken in the country towards sustainable development, support programs and strategic documents adopted. He also noted that, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, including increasing investment in innovation is the main strategic direction.

Then, director of ANAS High Technologies Park, PhD in Agrarian Sciences Vugar Babayev spoke about the importance of innovation and the importance of innovation.

At the meeting, Head of the Department of Innovative Development of the Information Society and Electronic Governance of the Ministry of Transport Rashad Azizov delivered paper on the purposes and conditions of the competition.

In addition, Jeyhun Salmanov, Head of Electronic Services Development and Social Innovation Section of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations (ASAN Khidmat) delivered paper on the acceptance of projects through "Idea Bank".

In conclusion, proposals of the participants were listened and respondent questions.
