Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The 4th International Symposium on "Education and Social Sciences in Turkic Countries" was held at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU) dedicated to the 100th jubilee of the Azerbaijani Democratic Republic and the Caucasus Islamic Army.

At the international symposium, well-known scholars of leading universities of Turkey and Azerbaijan, representatives of ANAS, representatives of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), International Center for Culture and Language Studies, Turkic World Education Union, Yunis Emre Institute and other scientific enterprises and organizations.

Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Corresponding Member of ANAS Misir Mardanov made a report on "History of mathematics education in Azerbaijan".

M.Mardanov was awarded the Turkic World Award by “TURKCESS 2018” for the services to the Turkic world.
