Indian scientist made a report at Sheki Regional Scientific Center

On 2-3 August, 2018, the next seminar of this scientific institution was held at Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS (ShSC).

Research assistant at Sericulture Research and Training Center of Department of Sericulture and Weaving of India Rajesh Kumar made a report on "Biological diversity of silkworm feeding in oak leaves in India".

Indian scientist gave information on the biodiversity of 7 types of silkworm feeding in oak leaves, the nutritional properties of each species, the biological and technological characteristics of the cocoon. He also talked about the rules used for the cultivation of oak, castor, pear, tapioca, herbaceous plants and trees used for feeding these silkworm breeds.

Then, a wide discussion was held on the reports and questions were answered.

Finally, Indian Sericulture Research and Training Center and ShSC have agreed to sign a joint agreement on scientific technical cooperation in this direction.
