Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A group of students of the Baku branch of the Moscow State University after M.Lomonosov visited the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS.

During the meeting with Vice-President of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Dilgam Tagiyev students informed about the history of the institution, its main scientific directions, scientific research works and achievements.

D.Tagiyev said that, today the main task of the Azerbaijani education and science is to improve the quality of education and research, training of qualified specialists and scientists. He noted that, one of the important directions of reforms implemented in ANAS in recent years is the integration of science and education, and the number of those wishing to study for the master's degree in the Academy is gradually increasing. Then, academician answered the students' questions and wished them success.

In the end, the students were acquainted with the research work carried out in a number of the institute's laboratories, the principles of modern equipment and devices.
