Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Rector of the Russian State Geological Survey University after Sergo Orjenikidze, Professor Vadim Kosyanov and the Vice-Rector of this university, Professor Vagif Karimov visited the Institute of Geology and Geophysics (IGG) of ANAS.

Correspondent member of ANAS Dadash Huseynov informed the guests about the history of the institute, spheres of activity, achievements in scientific fields, and works of scientists. He donated the book by the staff of the Institute.

Russian scientists got acquainted with the work of employees conducted in the departments and scientific laboratories of the IGG. Highly appreciating the activities of the departments, Azerbaijani scientists were invited to give a lecture at the Russian State Geological Prospecting University.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged views with Russian scientists and reached an agreement on mutual cooperation.
