Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Representatives of Baku State University, Baku Slavic University, Azerbaijan Medical University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi and Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi  represented our country at the XIII International Great Turkish Language Congress, held in Warsaw, Poland.

Along with Azerbaijan, 120 scientists from a different countries participated in the congress dedicated to the Turkish Language Day.

Then, were listened the papers by Director of the Institute of Linguistics, academician Mohsen Nagisoylu on "The value of the history of classical Persian-Turkish dictionaries", deputy director on scientific affairs, doctor of philological sciences, docent Baba Maharramli on "Initial pronounced roots in Turkic languages", Professor Roza Eyvazova on "Salmas aqiz" on the basis of mutual relations between the two languages".

Also Azerbaijani scientists visited the monument, erected in Warsaw for the sake of friendship of our peoples, General Mahei Suleyman Sulkevich and Colonel Vali bey Yadigar.
