ANAS Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi held an event in connection with the execution of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 17, 2018 "On a number of measures to ensure the broader use of Azerbaijani language in electronic space" signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

The meeting the project discussed "Electronic platform for Azerbaijani language for foreigners".

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies, Ministry of Finance, State Examination Center (SEC) and Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) attended the event.

Director of the Institute of Linguistics, academician Mohsun Naghisoylu said that, in article 6.4.3 of the "State Program on the Use of Azerbaijani in Compliance with Time Requirements and Linguistics in the Country" approved by the Presidential Decree dated 9 April 2013, Azerbaijan strengthening of activity in the field of creation of Internet resources, electronic and interactive textbooks".

He said that, the time of the use of the Azerbaijani language in electronic media was reached by signing these documents.

The meeting discussed the implementation of the project, implementation mechanism, implementation period, international experience.

Head of Department of SEC Vali Huseyn, Deputy Head of the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics, Sabina Aliyeva and head of the Department of Linguistics, Professor Mayil Askarov shared their views on the project.

At the end, were listened the proposals.
