Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

By the decision of International Museums Council (ICOM) in 1977, May 18 is celebrated as an International Museums Day in the whole world.

As every year, ANAS National Azerbaijan Literature Museum named after Nizami Ganjavi held “Open door” day dedicated to May 18 international Museum Day. So, numerous people visited the museum within a day, got familiar with exhibition, exposition, different manuscripts, as well as cultural samples belonging to ancient and medieval centuries.
