Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A conference dedicated to the 18th of October - Independence Day was held in the Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS (ShRSC).

The event started with the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Later, the report was made by the Director of ShRSC, PhD in Physics and engineering, Associate Professor Yusif Shukurlu on "The State Independence of Azerbaijan is the national wealth of our people". The modern development strategy set by national leader Heydar Aliyev was successfully continued today by President Ilham Aliyev, speaker noted.

Head of Ecological Geography Department of the Center Yusif Rahimov, Head of Landscape Studies Department, Doctor in Geology-Mineralogy Husein Mustafabeyli and others noted national leader’s role in the strengthening of the state independence of Azerbaijan.
