Monograph “Social and cultural values of the Scythians (ancient ashguz, ishguz, guz) by Zaur Hasanov, employee of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography has published in Astana (Kazakhstan).

Monograph published in Russian studied social and structural problems ishguz society, cultural values, as well as the problem of ethnicity and culture ishguz. In the work consisting of six chapters based on ethnic and archaeological research and critical analysis of written sources, the author showed that the concept of the Arabic-speaking ethnicity society should be considered unreasonable.

Also book portrays a genetic link between tradition and religious worldviews ishguz with Turks and Mongols, the peoples of the Altai.

Monograph has been reviewed by the late professor, Dr. History Suleyman Aliyarli and famous archaeologist, professor of Kazakhstan Dr. History Zeynal Samashev.
