Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics held the next seminar.

A prominent scientist, active member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of the University of Maryland, Professor of ADA University and Professor of the National Aviation Academy Roald Sagdeev delivered a report on "The 50th anniversary of Kolmogorov–Arnold–Moser (KAM) Theory".

The scientist talked about stages of formation of his scientific activity and shared the memories on his teachers V.Ginzburg, Lev Landau, respondent the questions.

Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Misir Mardanov underlined the importance of scientific works of academician Roald Sagdeev, who has made a great contribution to the field of world physics, especially to space physics.

Rector of ADA Hafiz Pashayev, pro-rectors of the National Aviation Academy, well-known scientists and specialists attended the event.
